A Welcome from the organising team...

Now in our sixth running, we are really pleased with what we as organisers have achieved and know that we can come together again this year to give you, the competitor another great FUN, COMPETITIVE, day of RALLYING.

We bring you once again a stunning venue, great stages, and spectators all with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to celebrate the sport we ALL love. Unfortunately we still have a limit of 55 entries, so make sure you get your spot booked as soon as you can before it fills up.

Richard Cole Contracting
We are very pleased and grateful to Richard Cole Contracting, in joining us in support the Motorsport Carnival Stages at Boconnoc. We hope this is a partnership for many years.

To those of you who have supported the event in the past we thank you again for your continued support, and equally we say a big welcome and thank you to those of you coming along for the first time to compete.

Remember we always welcome and listen to your feedback.

The organisers.

The 2012 Boconnoc Motorsport Carnival supported by Bulwell Trailer Solutions :: Great action here from the day! Enjoy...

In the depths of the Cornish countryside there is a merry band of like minded petrol heads with a vision!

Their vision was to create an annual celebration of Cornish Motoring, to be held at the beautiful Boconnoc Estate, Nr. Lostwithiel. Many of you will be familiar with the various events already held there, none more so than the Spring Flower Show and the Steam Fair.

In future, with a little more time for planning, the event will become much more. The whole concept will include Classic cars, displays, stands, demonstrations, a selection of vehicles from all types of motorsport including circuit racing cars, hillclimb machines, off road, both sporting and production trials and someone to tell you the difference! There will also be a selection of vehicles for spectators to drive on a designated course. In fact lots to look forward to!

So, a date to remember Sunday 12th August. I’ll be there, hope you will be too!

Sponsors of the Boconnoc Motorsport Carnival.

The final pieces of the 6th Boconnoc Motorsport Carnival jigsaw are now falling into place with the announcement of a new main sponsor, Richard Cole Contracting.

Proprietor Richard Cole is no stranger to the motorsport world having competed at the wheel of a rally car for many years.

Richard said, "I jumped at the chance to support our local rally. It's fantastic that we have these sorts of events in the south west", adding "This is s great day out for competitors and spectators in a beautiful parkland setting. Motorsport fans will have a day to remember and enjoy." Richard also hopes to secure one of the 55 entries for the event. The 2016 rally included a host of established south west crews plus entries from as far away as Essex to a new crew from Cornwall.

Spectators will be allowed to watch the action from a safe distance making this one of the most accessible venues for watching motorsport in England.

Clerk of the Course Paul Watts said: "We've worked hard to make sure everyone has a day to remember for sponsors, exhibitors, competitors and spectators. I would also like to add my gratitude to the landowners for allowing us to come up with a vision that in a few years time will be a 'must do' event on the motorsport calendar."

Action on the day will start at 9am – spectators can watch all 12 stages. Boconnoc Estate is located near the A390 between Liskeard and Loswithiel in Cornwall.
