Grass roots motorsport since 1965
ONLINE entry service (opens 20.00 hrs, 7th December)
South Hams Motor Club have been running night road events since 1972 and we are constantly looking for the “ideal” format, listening to competitors and the changing conditions in the sport and area. We feel accuracy in all sides of the car will be required for a good result on our events.
For 2025 Chuley Road Garage returns as full event sponsor, a name that has been linked with SHMC and local motorsport for more years than they care to recall!
The ethos is becoming: “Do the event Saturday night, wash it Sunday and drive it to work Monday”.
In recent years we have got more of an eye to the future of the sport, trying to encourage more newcomers to step up from 12 Car to larger Clubman/Interclub events, and thus the events are being designed to be much kinder to cars, but not necessarily to the crews.
We are using OS Maps 201 and 202 this year. Rally HQ is at The Miners Arms, Hemerdon, Plympton PL7 5BU, so those travelling from a little further afield will find the event very easy to get to.
We look forward to receiving your entry, and any questions you have please ask away, our details are in the SRs.
Regards
Sam and the Organising Team
Marshals Wanted!
As always we need a lot of helpers to make sure the rally runs smoothly - no experience necessary - if you can offer any help on the night (or before) please get in touch or Sign-on HERE
Note about Entries (Article 6/SRs.): ...will be selected in a “first come, first served” basis for the first 45 entries. If after 5 full days after entries open, the maximum number has been reached then the remaining 15 entries will be selected at the “organiser’s discretion”. If it has not been reached at this point, entries will be selected in a “first come first served basis”. The maximum number for the event is 60, should more entries be received this figure, a reserve list of 10 will be created and will be contacted if an entry becomes available.

We are pleased to announce the SHMC loyalty card scheme partnered with our friends Paul & Natalie Howard at JDM Garage UK.
With us running 3 night events now we have decided to give something back to you the competitors for your support. So here goes……….
At the Harvest rally signing on all competitors (yes Driver & Nav) will be issued with a loyalty card to keep. Then collect your next stamp at Guy Fawkes signing on and finally at The Primrose….. upon receiving your 3rd stamp you will get a £10 discount for your Primrose entry Fee.
All completed cards will then be put in a draw to win one of 3 FREE entries to one of the SHMC Night events in the 25/26 season (draw will take place at the Primrose drivers briefing). So what do you need to do ????? Nothing!!!! apart from turn up and enjoy all 3 night events and DON'T LOSE YOUR CARD !!!
Thanks again to Paul & Natalie Howard for helping us make this possible.
As part of our commitment to:
• The protection of the environment
• Reducing the detrimental impact of events on the environment
• Improving the sustainability of motorsport in the UK
We donate a small environmental levy from our events to offset the CO2 produced by all competing vehicles, and that of the South Hams Motor Club organisers on the event. We invest this in a local tree planting scheme managed by local charity MOOR TREES to permanently offset the carbon produced and to achieve net-zero carbon for our events.
